's going to be too hard to see around the city. we have been sort of all around. san francisco is just overflowing with 49ers pride. we did a couple of stops along the city today just to check it out as we are days way from the big game. yesterday mayor lee declared that it would be red and gold weekend couraging fans and local businesses to show off their 49ers pride by sporting the team logo or colors. the city's devotion to the super bowl bound 49ers, local graffiti artist steve and tim have aptly named their 30-foot masterpiece the city bleeds gold. the mural was developed on a rooftop using rock climbing gear to get up that high. if this is any indication of what's going to happen on sunday, the 9ers may have something to worry about. this is the san francisco zoo's black rhino named boon. he was supposed to eat the baltimore ravens for breakfast this morning. zookeepers created the ravens logo out of boone's breakfast vegetables and then let him in to eat it but instead he ate the go 9ers instead and boone is named after the 49ers right tackle
'm the project sponsor. i'm pleased to be here today, the first qualified student project in san francisco. i've been involved in berkeley and have built 5 hundred units plus in berkeley. the project in the upper left-hand side of the scene was from a downtown project since world war ii. in 2007 i sold the portfolio of the buildings and decided to develop housing and specifically student housing in san francisco. i did quite a bit of research about the market in san francisco and with the help of the san francisco housing action coalition was able to learn that there about 65 thousand full-time students in san francisco of which only 11 thousand have sponsors in student housing and that leaves 56 thousand student that don't have the principle. the project at 1321 mission will have a hundred and 60 units of which 120 a micro parents and other suits they can accommodate up to 5 hundred students. we have been working on small unit design in the last 5 years and we've adopted the design method loosen of the gold i didn't locks and the 3 bears. we have built larger units which were too big. and ha

there at that time. it is budget season in san francisco. the city operates now on a two-year budget and so that means that we are developing the budget for fiscal year 13-14, as well as 14-15. now the good news in the city and really at the state actually, state-level is that we're in much better shape financially than we were a few, short years ago during the financial meltdown, but we're still not out of woods yet. at this time the city does have a deficit, i believe it's been $129 million, but don't quote me on that. it's more than $100 million. and for this reason, the mayor has given direction to all of the different department heads that when we submit our budget, we need to include some budget reductions, approximately 1.5% per year. and so our office is cooperating, of course, with that citywide effort. during the budget season, our office also participates in capital planning for the really big projects, like new buildings or ada transition plan work for barrier-removal. and a little bit later in the meeting today, i have asked our deputy director for architectural access, john pa

traffic. kristen and eric? >> thank you. happening now a san francisco woman is in critical condition with burns to her face after family members say her boyfriend doused her with gasoline and set her on fire. police are searching for the boyfriend, 22-year-old dexter oliver. they were at a laundromat and got in a heated argument. the victim's sister say he came home, poured gasoline in a bottle and headed back to the laundromat. amy will have an update from the hospital in 30 minutes. >> two suspects in the murder of two teen girls in oakland are due in court. the 18-year-old powell faces two counts of murder and possibly the death penalty. and another is charged with accessory. the victims were best friend. the 15-year-old and 16-year-old were found shot several times in east oakland in november. witnesses say there was an argument before the deadly shooting. >> a 16-year-old girl injured in a shooting near a high school at millbrae and san bruno border was shot in the stomach and leg across the street from the high school. it happened at 10:30 on saturday night. police did not say
